DR. SCOTT ELSBREE, MD, ABIM
INTERNAL MEDICINE, PRIMARY CARE
Dr. Elsbree grew up in Sarasota, Florida, then earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Duke University. He then went on to attend medical school at the University of Florida School of Medicine. Dr. Elsbree completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Elsbree is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He became a doctor because of a life-long desire to help people. His number one priority is patient care and providing a safe and healthy atmosphere for his patients. Dr. Elsbree was nominated as “Top Doctor” in Sarasota Magazine in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. He was also voted as one of the “Ten Best Doctors” by Doctors Hospital Sarasota, Florida.
When he is not working, Dr. Elsbree enjoys opera, classical music, piano, boating, and time with his wife and four children.
